Batman Begins
Does anyone think Batman Begins is the superior film when compared to The Dark Knight?
Call me crazy (and I'm sure some probably will) but I thought so. What do you think? Thanks for your time and input.
Both films have their strengths over the other:
The Dark Knight was a bit more complex than Batman Begins. That it dealt with social issues such as moral and ethical dilemmas, perception and themes of escalation and vigilantism.
While Batman Begins focused more on Bruce Wayne's psyche and character development. Dealing with themes about the power of fear and search for redemption.
Both films are deep in meaning, but I prefer Batman Begins because it focuses more on the tragedy of Bruce Wayne and his quest to become the Dark Knight. In almost every Batman movie, Batman is always overshadowed by the villain and is treated like a secondary character. But in Batman Begins, Bruce Wayne/Batman is the main focus and the film explores his origin and psychological development.
